The Empresarios deal strictly in a fine line of floor-filling latin funk breaks. So when they sat down to curate their "Flavours of the Year Mix 2011", the end result was always going to be an essential money shaker shaker.
Featuring my personal favourtie track of the year (J Boogie's remix of Quantic's "Un Canto a Mi Tierra" from his Combo Barbaro project), some other gems to listen out for include Captain Planet's "Ningana", the Uptown Fellaz remix of Valique's "The Journey" and a nice Bobby C Sound take on of Empresario's own "Bailando", which til now I'd never heard.
